These studies were conducted with grants and support from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration, Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone, elected officials and a collaboration with the Urban Design Lab of Columbia University.
The BID publishes a monthly online newsletter that is distributed to over 6,000 readers. We include topics such as the Association's work, pedestrian counts in the district, sanitation updates, public safety updates, and announcements.
On 125th Street there is always something going on. Whether it’s a new store opening, a hotel being built, a concert happening, renovations, new developments, a memorial, march or special exhibit, this historic district is not to be missed.
