F.T.K 2 - " For the Kids" 2nd Annual Youth Resource Fair
On Friday September 10, 2010 The 28th Precinct held it's 2nd Annual "For The Kids" Youth Resource Fair. F.T.K's purpose is to offer youths and parents resources that will assist them in providing a better quality of life for themselves and their families. One of the main focuses of the fair is stopping and preventing gang involvement and violence among teens in the Harlem community. This event provides our youths and their parents with many positive choices of activities in an effort to deter unsafe sex, and drug use.

The Adam Clayton Powell State Office Building's Plaza was lined with tables of friendly employees and volunteers from various organizations distributing helpful information such as information on free at home and online tutoring, health, education, extra-curricula activities, internship and employment opportunities.

FBI Explorers and Representatives from the Harlem Dowling West Side Center happily pause for a photo

Community members and passersby are introduced to new and existing community programs.

Workers and community members were all in good spirits taking part in this important event focused on enriching our youth.
